Wireless Measurement While Drilling System

The wireless MWD/logging system relies on the mud turbine generator to generate positive mud pulse signals through the puller. The data measured by downhole instruments are encoded and transmitted to the surface. The signals are extracted by the safety interface box extraction sensor and then processed by the computer system to obtain real-time parameters such as inclination, azimuth, toolface and gamma, which serve as the basis for controlling the well trajectory and formation evaluation.
